Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR)
Wel-Screen provides technicians and researchers with accurate, timely and cost-effective Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) analysis.
NMR testing is a technique which can be used for quality control, to identify an unknown compound in research, or to determine the content and the purity of a sample.
A sample is dissolved in a suitable solvent during the NMR test and is placed into a strong magnetic field. A radiofrequency pulse is then applied in the sample to orient the nuclei's magnetic moments in the solution. As the magnetic moments relax, they exhibit a free induction decay. This is then Fourier-transformed into an NMR spectrum. In the NMR spectrum, chemical shifts of these nuclei are visible, and by using these chemical shifts, we can determine the structure of the compound in the sample.
The test is suitable for those studying active pharmaceutical ingredients, fine chemicals and natural products.

Using the latest Bruker Avance III 400 Spectrometer, we can perform a comprehensive range of NMR tests, including:

- 31P NMR Experiment
- 2D experiments, such as COSY, HMBC, HMQC
